Postdoctoral Researcher or Assistant Scientist

The Phys-Bio Group in the Biosciences Division at the Argonne National Laboratory is seeking candidates for the project of developing novel high throughput screening assay via the combination of micro/nano fabrication, advanced spectroscopy and molecular biology.  The position can be at either postdoctoral (preferred) or an assistant scientist (assistant professor equivalent) level depending on the candidate’s qualification.  Strong background in material science, micro/nano-fabrication and advanced laser spectroscopy are required.  Additional experiences in biophysics and high throughput assay development are highly desirable.  The position is available immediately. The Phys-Bio Group is a multidisciplinary research group.  Candidates who are willing to interact with biologists, physicists and chemists are encouraged to apply.
